About Ari

The Full Story

Ari Urban is a proud native of Miami, Florida and is a regular member of Miami's 21st century chamber orchestra, Nu Deco Ensemble.

She received her Bachelor of Music from the University of Miami Frost School of Music, and her Master of Music from Depaul University of Chicago.

During her studies in college, Ari started experiencing performance anxiety and did not have access to helpful tools through her university, so she embarked on finding solutions on her own through attending a mindfulness course at age 20. Ari learned how to use meditation to train the mind, regulate the nervous system and get in touch with her intuition; which was the exact medicine she needed not only to dissolve stage fright, but to also become the foundation of her life.

After graduating with her masters degree in music, Ari was a violin fellow in the Civic Orchestra of Chicago for two years and had the opportunity to work with world renowned cellist Yo-yo Ma, who inspired and supported her vision of fusing mindfulness and music in a new way to help bring healing to herself and others. This marked the beginning of Ari's journey into entrepreneurship.
